S. Napolitano Corp. has been on Main Street in Goshen for over three decades. We're a small, family-run firm — Stephen, Theresa and Ed — and we believe in building lasting relationships through trust, expertise, and plain-spoken customer service.

Most first-time clients forget one or two things — no big deal, we'll fill the gaps through the portal. But here's a quick checklist so you can pull it all together before you stop in.

Before you pick up the phone.

Do I need to come in, or can we do this virtually?

Either works. Many long-time clients still come in for our Sit & Prep service — coffee, paperwork, handshake, done. Others prefer to upload everything through our secure TaxDome portal and handle the whole return remotely. Whichever feels right.

What does a tax return actually cost?

It depends on complexity — a straightforward W-2 return is very different from a multi-state business with K-1s. We'll give you a clear, honest estimate after a five-minute phone call. No surprise invoices.

Can you file for NYC, New Jersey, or multiple states?

Yes. NYC, NJ and multi-state filings are one of our specialties — many of our Orange County clients commute into the city or have rental property across the line. We handle the reciprocity and allocation work.

I'm a NYC firefighter / police officer. Is there anything specific?

Quite a bit, actually. Stephen has worked with uniformed personnel for years and knows the typical deductions, line-of-duty considerations, and union-related items inside and out. It's a genuine specialty of the firm.

I'm behind on filings or got an IRS letter. Can you help?

Yes. Stephen is an Enrolled Agent, which means he can represent you directly with the IRS. Bring in whatever you have (or don't have) and we'll build a quiet plan to get caught up.
